‘Dance Moms: Miami’ Recap: The Circus Gets a Little Twisted
May 15, 2012 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
The Stars are getting dark and creepy this week for their “Twisted Circus” theme performance at the Starbound competition in Fort Meyers. Now, when I hear circus I think of evil clowns, but thank goodness Victor shares my fear and chooses not to include them among his cast of circus folk. With Hannah as a fortune teller, Lucas as a mime, Sammy as a contortionist, Kimmy as a circus guest and Jessi as the ring leader, it’s one twisted combination that can’t go wrong. There’s No Crying in Dance After last week’s string of first place wins, I wasn’t sure how Victor and Angel could choose who to put on top but it turns out that crying gets you nowhere no matter how well you performed.

Warning: major season 7 finale spoilers ahead! Yes, last night’s season finale answered some important questions (Who is Barney’s bride?), but it also left us with a lot of open-ended ones for next season (What’s going to happen with Ted and Victoria? How will Barney transition from being engaged to Quinn to marrying Robin?). Though he’s not giving away all their tricks, co-creator Craig Thomas was willing to share some interesting tidbits for next (and potentially the last) season. “It had to be Robin.” According to TV Guide , Thomas believes “there was just no other way” than to have Barney end up with his fellow Canadian, Robin

‘House’ Recap: The Dangerous Games House Plays
May 14, 2012 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
Continuing on from the last episode, Gregory House seems to be becoming more and more unglued. The worse off his cancer-ridden bestie, Dr. Wilson, gets, it seems the more unthinking and reactionary the brilliant medical man becomes. I have to say that nothing or no one can tear me away from the TV these past few weeks during House. The show is just that good now and we’ve still got the two-hour finale next week! Dangerous game #1: hiring a cafeteria full of patient actors Sure, House has hired actors to try to change Wilson’s mind before, like the kid actor who House had pretend to be Wilson’s long lost son.

Richard Hammond’s Crash Course’ Recap: Demolition, Man

Last week was about saving , but this week is about destroying on Crash Course. Richard Hammond is in Florida to learn what it really takes to demolish a building (hint: it’s not just crushing). Richard quickly gets us up to speed on the many uses of a track hoe for demolishing a building, which a guy named Rich (ha) explains is a multi-step process that involves recycling and dismantling in addition to the crushing. Track hoe operator Danny is skeptical about teaching Richard how to use the machine, but he says he’ll try his best. I suppose that’s all we can ask for.
