‘Big Brother 12′ Recap: Britney Speared by the Brigade

It’s the rare “live” Wednesday eviction show on Big Brother , and by “live” I mean recorded yesterday since the live feeds have been turned off for the past day and a half, using up what little patience Big Brother fans had for this season. See the Latest Photos from Inside the House> > We already know Hayden wins the Power of Veto, he doesn’t use it, the Brigade comes out to Britney, she’s evicted and the endurance part of the final HoH competition begins. Basically, this is the most inessential episode of Big Brother 12 yet. This show may not be a complex serialized drama like Mad Men or The Wire , but the fans are very savvy and they know when they’re being played. If Big Brother wants to keep its fans, the show needs to stop turning off live feeds and pretending that people don’t already know the outcome.

After Hayden didn’t use the Power of Veto and Enzo voted to evict Britney, the three remaining members of the Brigade started part 1 of the final HoH competition.

You don’t mess with a father. That’s the lesson going into season 3 of Sons of Anarchy , premiering tonight at 10pm on FX. The second season ended with Jax’s son Abel being kidnapped, a move that heightens the drama for season 3. While many cable dramas like Mad Men , Damages , Breaking Bad and Dexter are winning Emmys, Sons of Anarchy remains an outlaw, a brilliant series that doesn’t get the respect it deserves. But for fans who are eagerly awaiting the third season, it’s certainly among the best shows on TV

‘Big Brother 12′ Recap: The Comedic Brilliance of Lane

I didn’t hear a single word from this episode of Big Brother 12 because the sound of the Brigade patting itself on the back was so deafening. They made the final four, Hayden is the final HoH, they control votes and they dominated everything. The only intrigue comes from the Brigade debating who would take who to the final two, but it’s not really backstabbing. I do give the edge to Hayden, because even though he knows he’s the best and would beat Lane or Enzo in the finale, we works hard on both of them to convince them to take him to the finale
