‘Dancing with the Stars’ 11: Who’s Your Pre-Season Favorite? Let’s Vote!
September 7, 2010 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
We’re mere weeks away from seeing what Bristol Palin looks like on the ballroom floor (My prediction: A baby Kate Gosselin), and whether Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino can keep his shirt on long enough to learn the steps of a salsa routine. (My prediction: Barely.) Meet the cast of stars on Dancing with the Stars season 11 So while the “stars”–as so many of you would have me wrap that term in air-quotes this season–and their pro partners (see all the pairings in their official cast photos here ) begin their harrowing practice schedule (see some of them rehearsing already !) in preparation for their first televised routine on Monday, September 20 at 8pm on ABC, we must make our own mental preparations for the premiere, by placing our bets and pledging our allegiances. In that spirit, I ask you these all-important questions, Dancing with the Stars fans: Who’s your pre-season favorite?
‘Supernatural’ Season 6 Premiere Official Synopsis
September 7, 2010 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
The new season of Supernatural is almost here. The premiere comes Friday, September 24 at 9pm, and while we already have our first look at the episode, we now have a description of the premiere to go with them. The CW released the following official synopsis for the season 6 premiere, “Exile on Main Street.” “It’s a year later and Dean has given up hunting and is living with Lisa and her son Ben. Mysteriously freed from his cage in hell, Sam finds Dean and tells him he needs to rejoin the fight and introduces Dean to a world – a family – he never even knew existed: the Campbells, his mother’s family, led by none other than their Grandfather Samuel (Mitch Pileggi).” I love moving forward an entire year because it allows Dean to be in a completely different place, emotionally and mentally

‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 3 Review: A Father Scorned
September 7, 2010 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
You don’t mess with a father. That’s the lesson going into season 3 of Sons of Anarchy , premiering tonight at 10pm on FX. The second season ended with Jax’s son Abel being kidnapped, a move that heightens the drama for season 3. While many cable dramas like Mad Men , Damages , Breaking Bad and Dexter are winning Emmys, Sons of Anarchy remains an outlaw, a brilliant series that doesn’t get the respect it deserves. But for fans who are eagerly awaiting the third season, it’s certainly among the best shows on TV
The ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Fight and Almost Make Up
September 6, 2010 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
Writer, BuddyTV Last week was pretty intense (need I remind you that Teresa Giudice got all King Kong and PUSHED Andy Cohen?) but apparently there’s another hour and fifteen minutes’ worth of clips for Andy to introduce and the Housewives to ignore. Things pick right back up with Danielle’s Brownstone-crashing incident, and the “f word.” Danielle says she refuses to speak to Danny after the incident (that doesn’t seem true at all) and apologizes to Andy if he was offended, but won’t take responsibility for what Danny said. But this is nothing new, as Danielle doesn’t really take responsibility for anything. Quickly, things digress into catty accusations and insults coming out of left field and Danielle walks out again
‘Project Runway’ Recap: Always a Bridesmaid
September 2, 2010 by tv show news · Leave a Comment
Cynthia Boris Writer, BuddyTV The only thing nastier than a hot pink, polyester bridesmaid gown is this season of Project Runway . Never before have we seen so many glaring eyes, heard so many put downs and now it seems to have spread throughout the whole cast! As if it wasn’t hard enough making a wearable garment out of an old bridesmaid gown, now they have to do it with knives in their backs? Et tu, Project Runway ! Et tu! Look up the word “awkward” in the dictionary and you’ll find a description of this week’s episode. It began with the aftermath of Tim’s uncharacteristic slam after last week’s elimination. He called Gretchen a manipulative bully and she said he hurt her feelings

The Brigade of Fools is running the Big Brother 12 house, which is great for them and bad for us. This week ran as predictably as clockwork. After Lane won the HoH, Ragan had to win the Power of Veto or he’d go home.

Julian and Brooke are getting married on One Tree Hill , so it’s time for the drama to begin. We’ve already met Brooke’s ice cold mom and Julian’s movie producer dad, but now the show is bringing in the mother of the groom to help plan the giant wedding.
