Rather than churning out the same phone over and over, each wireless provider has opted to customize their handsets with various tweaks and options. For instance, Sprint’s Epic 4G comes with a physical QWERTY while T-Mobile’s Vibrant comes preloaded with James Cameron’s AVATAR and The Sims 3. So, what helps Verizon’s new phone stand out?

Source iFixIt.com Google’s Nexus One has been, or still is for some users, one of the best Android handset available. However it is far from being the perfect device we would all want to own. I’m severely disappointed in Verizon and Samsung. The Samsung Fascinate, Big Red’s version of the Galaxy S, has been reviewed by the folks over at Engadget. They were quick to point out that the search widget is BING, not Google Search.

Good news for those of you interested in picking up the Galaxy Tab announced last week. According to Samsung product executive Hankil Yoon, the Android 2.2 tablet could sell for between $200 and $300 when it debuts with wireless providers. The final pricing will depend on carrier subsidy, but this is an encouraging starting point. I expect the hardware maker to adopt a similar strategy for the tablet as they have for their Galaxy S line of phones.
