Wu Ershan’s The Butcher, The Chef & The Swordsman Trailer

Screening up at the Toronto Film Festival next month is a new kung fu comedy in the same vein as Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Hustle called The Butcher, The Chef and The Swordsman from Chinese filmmaker Wu Ershan. I’m not exactly sure why, but Doug Liman is presenting the film at the festival and Twitch now has an official trailer from TIFF which you can check out below. This actually looks a lot more like a bloody, awesome, stylized martial arts movie than it does a kung fu comedy, but I’m in either way. It looks like we’ll get three vignettes for each of the different stories, too.

From the man who brought us The Orphanage and Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark comes another beautiful, creepy Spanish horror/thriller called Julia’s Eyes . An English subtitled trailer for the film was discovered by sites like STYD and Collider , as the trailer has been out before but without any subs (see it on YouTube ). Written and directed by Guillem Morales , Julia’s Eyes is yet another supernatural ghost thriller about a woman and her husband who return to a town to find that her sister, who was blind due to a degenerative illness, killed herself

Whoa. We have a very weird trailer to debut for you today for a film that will be playing in the Toronto Film Festival 2010 Midnight Madness category, which is where all the dark, weird stuff goes. It’s a French-Hong Kong film from filmmaking duo Julien Carbon & Laurent Courtiaud titled Red Nights (in English) starring Carrie Ng ( Sex Medusa ) and Frédérique Bel ( Adèle Blanc-Sec ). It’s kind of a modern, bondage version of a Cantonese Opera.
Watch This: Comic-Con Trailer for AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’

I’m breaking all of our rules today to feature this totally badass (recut) version of the Comic-Con trailer for AMC’s adaptation of the comic series The Walking Dead . We don’t normally talk about TV at all, but this is one show that I think deserves the time in the spotlight for being one of the latest to break the rules of the TV world as one of the first series about a zombie pandemic. This trailer is a beefy, five-minute look at the undead-filled world Frank Darabont ( Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist ), as director of the pilot, has crafted for the show. I can’t wait to see this, it’s one show I will be going out of my way to watch! Watch the full Comic-Con trailer for AMC’s The Walking Dead : AMC’s newest fall series ” The Walking Dead “, based on Robert Kirkman’s incredibly popular comic book series that began in 2003 published by Image Comics, tells the story of the weeks and months that follow a pandemic zombie apocalypse
Watch: Last Minute Trailer for New Line’s ‘Going the Distance’

Out of nowhere comes one more brand new trailer (via Yahoo ) for the Nanette Burstein-directed romantic comedy Going the Distance , written by Geoff LaTulippe, starring the lovable duo Justin Long & Drew Barrymore . This is that long distance relationship quirky comedy that you’ve probably seen lots of ads for recently. I’ve seen some fairly mixed, but mostly positive Twitter buzz recently, mainly because it’s official premiere was tonight (perfect timing). It’s a very well edited trailer, I think it looks quite funny and it has a lot more Charlie Day (selling to the It’s Always Sunny crowd). So here’s your final reminder, watch below! Watch the second theatrical trailer for Going the Distance : You can also watch this new Going the Distance trailer in High Definition on Yahoo A look at the trials and tribulations of a long-distance relationship with Justin Long and Drew Barrymore

This zombie movie is set in Africa that takes the audience on “a journey across Africa with the living dead in constant pursuit.” Bloody-Disgusting recently debuted this new trailer for an indie horror flick called The Dead , co-directed by brothers Howard J. and Jonathan Ford. It was shot mainly in Burkina Faso and Ghana but has an international cast including Rob Freeman and Dan Morgan.
Watch: New Official Trailer for French Zombie Film ‘The Horde’
August 20, 2010 by movie trailers · Leave a Comment
IFC Films has debuted a new official US trailer on YouTube for the release of The Horde , a French zombie film that we’ve been writing about since earlier this year . I’m sure a few of you probably already have a copy of this on DVD, but for those of us in the US who are zombie fans, this is really our first chance to check it out. I like the gritty style of horror/genre films coming out of France these days, so I’m interested in seeing this, but this trailer is pretty awful, especially the shitty dubbing (not to mention that cheesy voice over). I don’t know why they did that, but if you’re into zombie movies (or French flicks) then check it out anyway. Watch the official US trailer for Yannick Dahan & Benjamin Rocher’s The Horde : The Horde , or just La Horde in French, is set on the outskirts of Paris.
