Facebook for Android Gets Updated to 1.6, Adds Video Upload and Pages

Check your Market now, because Facebook for Android just got an update! It is not necessarily a huge one but it does improve and bring a couple of features to the mobile app: Improved News Feed, Pages Support, and Video Upload. The News Feed has been improved in a sense that it will load more types of posts and open the posts natively in the app. Pages is also supported…sort of.
TeleNav v6.2 Now Available for Select T-Mobile Handsets

Our friends at TeleNav sent over an email to us this afternoon to share some news for T-Mobile customers. Some of you will find that you are able update your navigation software to the latest version, 6.2. This release features some pretty cool options including multiple search suggestions, real-time traffic conditions, improved search, and enhanced speech recognition. There are five handsets able to take advantage of the 6.2 release: Samsung Vibrant, LG Optimus T, Motorola Defy, Motorola Cliq XT, and the T-Mobile Comet

Archos Unveils Pair of Dual-core 1.5 GHz Tablets with Android Market Access

Betcha didn’t know this, but Archos has been in the Android tablet game as long as anyone. They have already release tablets/devices running Android that range in size from 2.8-inches up to 10-inches. Unfortunately their efforts just haven’t seem to catch on much. Maybe their next trick might be the one that puts them over the top. Check it out, Archos has just pulled the curtain back on a pair of Honeycomb tablets that rival (on paper) anything on the market.
Unconfirmed Report: Next-Gen Eee Pad Transformer to Feature Quad-Core Processor, Arrive in Fall

According to ASUS, their Eee Pad Transformer is doing very well for itself – to the tune of 400,000 units shipped in the first half the year. The 10-inch tablet runs Honeycomb, carries at $399 price tag and is said to be a low-margin device. Instead of making a bunch of money up front on the tablet, ASUS is picking up margin dollars on the back end with their keyboard docking station. Fair enough. We’re down with that any day of the week
