Are you ready for another twisted Julie Taymor take on Shakespeare? Disney has debuted the official trailer in blazing high def (via Apple ) for Julie Taymor’s The Tempest starring Helen Mirren , Russell Brand , Alfred Molina , Ben Whishaw , Chris Cooper , Alan Cumming , Djimon Hounsou and many others. Taymor’s movies always look so vivid and epic and extremely wild. I really want to see this because I love seeing Shakespeare’s dialogue thrown around in such visually imaginative concepts, I just hope it’s actually entertaining.

A brand new trailer for Steven Antin’s new musical Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera and Cher (as well as Stanley Tucci) has debuted and can be seen below thanks to YouTube (via Vlicious ). This energetic trailer hops into things right away and gets groovin’ to some music, so be prepared to turn up (or maybe down if you’re at work) the volume. If you like big, sultry Pussycat Dolls-like musicals, you’re going to love this, but if not you’re going to hate it, so don’t get too upset. One thing I’ll say about this is that Cher still look pretty awful… but can I add that I totally love seeing Stanley Tucci in almost anything? I had the chance to see this a week ago and totally loved it, one of my favorite films of the year and I truly believe that Firth will get the Oscar and that it has a very strong chance of winning Best Picture. Screen Gems has debuted the official trailer for their upcoming early 2011 cheesy teenage horror flick The Roommate starring a few hotties like Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly . I know there’s an audience for these kind of horror movies or they wouldn’t continue making them, but this just seems so much like The Stepfather or any of those teenage thrillers, and I just don’t care about them. Of course, everyone’s going to watch this because Meester and Kelly and everyone in it is so damn hot (and there’s a shower scene!) but I can still say it looks awful

New Trailer for Ron Howard’s Romantic Comedy The Dilemma

So this is what Ron Howard has been working on? From Angels & Demons to this romantic comedy piece of cra– I guess you guys should watch the trailer first and judge for yourself. Universal has debuted the first official trailer over on Apple for the Ron Howard directed romantic comedy of sorts The Dilemma starring Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Winona Ryder, Jennifer Connelly, Channing Tatum and Queen Latifah. So this isn’t really a romantic comedy, but it’s a confrontational/infidelity comedy and that’s pretty much the same. This doesn’t look terrible, but it just looks so painfully average, I’m surprised its from Ron Howard

Warner Bros has debuted a brand new trailer on Apple for Todd Phillips’s Due Date with Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis , the third one following the initial teaser trailer and a recut international trailer last month. This definitely the final trailer for the upcoming comedy, as it comes out in November, and this trailer finally shows us a glimpse of Downey’s pregnant wife, played by Michelle Monaghan , as well as an appearance by Danny McBride

Watch: Second New Full-Length Trailer for Disney’s ‘Tangled’

Disney has just debuted a second full-length trailer for their upcoming animated movie Tangled over on Moviefone today. This animated adventure is a re-telling of the classic Rapunzel story featuring the voices of Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as the fearless hero Flynn. It looks like a whole lot of fun and I’m looking forward to seeing it, at the very least because I love Disney’s animated adventures and this looks quite good, with a Pirates of the Caribbean touch to it. I know Disney wants this to be a huge hit and with a trailer like this, it definitely has the potential to be.
