Following NBC’s recent pick-up of six new comedies , FOX is also expanding its comedy lineup by picking up three new shows for next season. The shows, all single-camera like FOX’s New Girl and Raising Hope, include one starring The Office’s Mindy Kaling, one from the men behind How I Met Your Mother and another starring recent Oscar winner Nat Faxon. FOX has also picked up its first drama for next season, a show about a mob doctor in Chicago starring Jordana Spiro from the TBS sitcom My Boys

NBC With a Universal Records deal secured, “The Voice’s” Jermaine Paul celebrated his victory Tuesday night as the winner of season two. But before the grand announcement, the finale episode featured surprising and exclusive visits from some of the industry’s best — including Justin Bieber . This week on The Finder , when Walter’s latest job proposal comes from an area mob boss, it pits Isabella and Leo on opposite sides on whether he should accept it. Narrow Escape The episode opens with Isabella and her partner secretly watching/photographing a funeral interrupted by a rival gang — and gunfire erupts. Isabella gets shot, in her bulletproof vest thankfully, but her partner isn’t so lucky and might not make it. Isabella then ends up shooting the killer, who dies. The episode doesn’t address her partner’s condition other than he’s fighting in the hospital

When MCA first announced that he was battling the disease, he lamented the effect that his health would have on the Beasties’ upcoming plans, but remained optimistic that immediate surgery would lead to a full recovery. “I just need to take a little time to get this in check, and then we’ll release the record and play some shows,” he said in a written statement at the time. “It’s a pain in the neck (sorry had to say it) because I was really looking forward to playing these shows, but the doctors have made it clear that this is not the kind of thing that can be put aside to deal with later.” Consequently, “Hot Sauce Committee Part 1″ was pushed back indefinitely, and all of the group’s upcoming performances were scrapped
