In a press release put out today, Mobile Security firm NetQin is reporting that through GetJar’s pay per download ad campaign system, they have seen 100% growth in the US market for their product, as well as a 90% conversion rate from the ad campaign they are running. While looking at the leaked G2 pictures from yesterday, our eagle-eyed Chuck Falzone noticed something hiding in plain sight. One of the icons listed on the home screen for the handset shows a shortcut for an app called Quick Keys. Blowing things up a bit, he also found three hard keys on the keyboard which look much like the icon. With two Archos 5 tablets in my rearview mirror, I am definitely looking forward to the new 101. The nomenclature is shorthand for the 10.1″ screen with 1024×600 resolution. Handset maker Motorola is advising Droid X customers to shy away from manually installing the leaked Froyo builds making their rounds. According to them, this could leave you S.O.L. when it comes to the official update. WARNING : Do NOT load the leaked 2.2 upgrade that has been floating around on the Internets.
