Going the Distance Trailer

Out of nowhere comes one more brand new trailer (via Yahoo) for the Nanette Burstein-directed romantic comedy Going the Distance, written by Geoff LaTulippe, starring the lovable duo Justin Long & Drew Barrymore. This is that long distance relationship quirky comedy that you’ve probably seen lots of ads for recently. I’ve seen some fairly mixed, but mostly positive Twitter buzz recently, mainly because it’s official premiere was tonight (perfect timing). It’s a very well edited trailer, I think it looks quite funny and it has a lot more Charlie Day (selling to the It’s Always Sunny crowd). So here’s your final reminder, watch below!

A look at the trials and tribulations of a long-distance relationship with Justin Long and Drew Barrymore.

Going the Distance is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Nanette Burstein, who previously directed the hit documentaries On the Ropes, The Kid Stays in the Picture and American Teen, and is making her feature directing debut with this movie. The screenplay was written by first-time screenwriter Geoff LaTulippe and was included on the industry Black List a few years ago. New Line Cinema is bringing Going the Distance to theaters everywhere starting on September 3rd next weekend. Will you be seeing this in theaters or not?
