Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is the 2010 action-adventure fantasy film based on the 2003 video game of the same name. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal , Gemma Arterton, and Ben Kingsley . Based on the video game, the film follows an adventurous prince (Gyllenhaal) who teams up with a rival princess (Arterton) to stop an angry ruler (Kingsley) from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.
