iTunes 11 is Out: Redesigned & iCloud integrated
Apple has just released the newest version of iTunes, which looks completely different but still feels familiar. The main iTunes11 focus is on simplification: less lists, pages and a more intuitive, full of graphics interface.
So what are the main features of iTunes11?
Content comes first in the iTunes 11 interface. The new UI is clear and white, very intuitive to use. A grid of albums is set as the default view. Besides that there’s no more a left-side column like in iTunes 10.
Improved Search. It now delivers results for each song/artist/album in a pop-up interface.
Integration with iCloud. It’s one of the major improvements in the new iTunes, because now users can buy and download the tracks they lack in their own libraries. This means that if a user already has downloaded a few songs from the artist’s album he/she doesn’t need to search for them again to buy – this option is now provided in their library.
Redesigned Mini Player. The player looks different and has the built-in features, such as search and “up next”.
Up Next. This one is a new feature, which enables users to put tracks in a queue and they will be played automatically. “Up Next” feature lets you play a couple of tracks immediately and doesn’t build a playlist.
