‘American Horror Story’ Adds Emma Roberts to the ‘Coven’

The female-heavy cast of the third season of American Horror Story is growing with the newest addition of Emma Roberts. American Horror Story: Coven will deal with witches, and clearly that means plenty of female roles. No details on her character are released, but Roberts will be appearing with real-life boyfriend Evan Peters, who is returning to the anthology series. But thus far Peters is the ONLY male star confirmed for the show’s third season. Other returning cast members include Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Talissa Farmiga.

2013 Critics’ Choice TV Awards: ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘Big Bang Theory’ Top Nominations

The nominations for the 2013 Critics’ Choice TV Awards were announced Wednesday morning, spanning a wide array of not only network and cable, but from Netflix as well with the popularity of House of Cards on the streaming/rental service. Among the networks, HBO leads the pack with 21 nominations, followed by FX at 19, CBS and ABC at 11 and 10, respectively, and FOX and NBC tied for 9 nominations. When looking specifically at the shows, American Horror Story and The Big Bang Theory top the list at six each. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association, which hands out the Critics Choice awards, also gave nods to Parks and Recreation , Breaking Bad , Game of Thrones , The Good Wife , Political Animals and Girls , all with multiple nominations. But there were a couple big surprise omissions from the list: both Modern Family and Mad Men , which usually are a favorite among critics, were snubbed from Best Comedy and Best Drama, having only received one nomination each in the acting categories
Rumer Willis to Guest Star on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4

Rumer Willis is coming to Rosewood, Pretty Little Liars ‘ fans! The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore will appear on an upcoming episode of the ABC Family drama set to air later this summer. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Willis will play Zoe, a charity organizer. She will guest star in one episode in late July with the potential for more.
